Requirements For Hajj & Umra Visas
Hajj and Umra Visas are issued free for the Muslim citizens of South Africa and the neighboring countries: Botswana, Swaziland and Lesotho, and other Muslims who are permanently resident in South Africa

Requirements For Business Visit Visas
These Visas are issued only to the Businessmen, the investors, and to the CEOs of the companies. others applications will be apply to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through the host companies in Saudi Arabia.
When you apply for a Business Visit Visa, the following items must be submitted to the Consular Section of the Saudi Embassy in Pretoria:
1. A letter of invitation from the Saudi host company you are intending to visit. This letter must be endorsed by a Saudi Chamber of Commerce and Industry by the company you are visiting.
2. A copy of the Commercial Register of the Saudi company you are intending to visit.
3. A Work letter from your company for the intended visit of business addressed to the Royal Embassy showing your profession, the justification for the visit, its term, the name of the company or the establishment you are visiting in Saudi Arabia. This work letter must be endorsed by the Chamber of Commerce in South Africa.
4. A passport with at least six-month Multiple visas will not be issued of the Temporary Passport. The foreigner must have a formal residency in South Africa evident in his passport.
5. Applications of businesswomen must be through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, except that they are accompanying their husbands or in an official trading delegation.
6. The citizens of the neighboring countries must submit a letter from their embassies in Pretoria confirming their profession. in addition to the above requirements.
7. Two recent, colored, (6x4) personal photographs, where the background must be white

9. The Embassy will decide the validity of the Visa and period of stay in the Kingdom.

2. A copy of the marriage certificate showing you are married to the person working in Saudi Arabia you intend to visit or live with, and a copy of all birth certificates for accompanying children. These documents must also be endorsed by the Department of Foreign Affairs in South Africa.
3. A passport with at least six - months
4. Two recent, colored, (6x4) personal photographs, where the background must be white.

6. An okayed to and fro ticket.

Requirements for Work Visas
This visa is issued to those who have the qualifications due and selected to fill in a vacant job in a Saudi or Foreign Establishment in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This Establishment must obtain Work Visas from the concerned authorities in the Kingdom.
When you apply for a Work Visa, the following items must be submitted to the Consular Section of the Saudi Embassy in Pretoria.
1. A copy of the Follow-up slip showing the No. of the Visa issued from the concerned authorities in the Kingdom
2. The passport validity must be the period of the Work Contract
3. The age of the applicant must not be less than 22 years .
4. A visa authorization letter, showing the No. of the visa, this authorization letter must be endorsed by the Ministry of Foreign Affaires in Saudi Arabia
5. If the authorization letter is for a South African Recruitment Company, this company must submit a letter to the Embassy on behalf of the applicant showing the No. of the visa.
6. A copy of the Employment Contract signed by both parties and authenticated by the concerned authorities
7. A medical report authenticated by the SOUTH AFRICAN HEALTH PROFESSIONS COUNCIL and the DFA in South Africa. The Medical Report must show that the applicant is free from infectious diseases as mentioned in Model of the Embassy
8. Copies of Academic Certificates and practical experiences authenticated by the concerned authorities and the DFA
9. Police Clearance Certificate authenticated by the Department of Foreign Affairs in South Africa
10. The applicant must fill out and sign the Application Form, with two recent, colored, (6x4) personal photographs, where the background must be white.
11. A letter of NO Objection from your previous employer in Saudi Arabia, if applicable.
When you apply for a Work Visa, the following items must be submitted to the Consular Section of the Saudi Embassy in Pretoria.

This Visa is issued to the students who have scholarship from one of the official Saudi Universities to study at its expense. the names of those students must be sent from the Saudi concerned authorities directly to the Embassy in Pretoria
When you apply for a Study Visa, the following items must be submitted to the Consular Section of the Saudi Embassy in Pretoria
1. A copy of Enrolment Letter from the concerned University showing the name and the personal photograph of the student
2. The academic certificates authenticated by the Department of Foreign Affairs in South Africa
3. A Medical Report authenticated by the South African Health Professions Council and the Department of Foreign Affairs in South Africa. The medical report must show that the applicant is free from infectious diseases as mentioned in Model of the Embassy (the Medical Report)
4. The passport validity must be for at least the period of study.
5. The applicant must fill out and sign the application form, with two recent, colored (6x4) personal photographs where the background must be white.

This visa is issued for those who are desirous to travel to their countries or other countries via the airports of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
When you apply for a Transit Visa, the following items must be submitted to the Consular Section of the Saudi Embassy in Pretoria:
1. A valid passport
2. The applicant must obtain a visa to the destination country
3. A ticket where his/her residency in the Kingdom will not exceed 72 hours
4. The applicant must fill out and sign the application form with two recent, colored (6x4) personal photographs, where the background must be white.
When you apply for a Transit Visa, the following items must be submitted to the Consular Section of the Saudi Embassy in Pretoria:
1. A valid passport
2. The applicant must obtain a visa to the destination country
3. A ticket where his/her residency in the Kingdom will not exceed 72 hours
4. The applicant must fill out and sign the application form with two recent, colored (6x4) personal photographs, where the background must be white.
Requirements for Authentication
The Documents, the Certificates of Origin, the Study Certificates on which various authentications from different official circuits concluding by the authentications of the Department of Foreign Affairs in South Africa
These Documents must:
1. Be authenticated from an official authority accredited by the Embassy
2. Any scratch of addition to any data of the document of to the authentication on the document, will deem the Embassy not to authenticate this document
3. The Embassy is not responsible for any information in the concerned document, and has the right to refuse to authenticate any document.
